Matcott recently wrapped up his debut album with producer Wade Kierghan, bassist of cult-favourites The Scare and Wolf & Cub. Focusing his engrossing
lyricism on the encroaching climate crisis, Matcott punctuates his stories with caterwauling guitars, a blistering rhythm section and a dark, despairing mood.
