Moody guitar riffs, dreamy synth and emotive storytelling have all become synonymous with blue honey’s unique sound. Their moody and atmospheric melodies fuse with raw and heartfelt lyricism, creating a dance party for sad people - a perfect mix of joy and sadness.
Forming in early 2021, blue honey is a femme-five piece consisting of Iris Hera, Sarah Curran, Chloe Diener, Isla Barlow and Ani Postmus, all hailing from Perth/Boorloo, Western Australia. Their sound has become synonymous with the Perth music scene, as they infuse a dreamy, indie-pop style with an emotional and personal touch. Playing shows alongside artists such as shoegaze pioneers Slowdive, Perth local Noah Dillon, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Siobhan Cotchin, Lo, Smol Fish and many more.
