BlueCoal is a Paris/Berlin based singer/songwriter. She mixes spoken word, jazz, triphop, punk, indie-pop and slam with the use of instruments, voice and organic sound to produce an eclectic palette of songs. Domestic life and its inherent sound is a key element in her work and continues to be a source of creative inspiration.

Born in New York City - she grew up in London and New York and received professional theatre training. Artistically, she retreated in the 80’s and did many other things then moved to Paris in the 90’s. She records her music exclusively with producer Cameron James Laing at The Famous Gold Watch in Berlin. Her debut album is set to release October 2023.
