CHAMELEON LIME WHOOPIEPIE (CLWP) is a solo project by Chi-, who has distinctive orange hair and is accompanied by her friends Whoopies No. 1 and No. 2. They do more than just write and perform songs together—the trio handle all aspects of the creative process, such as making original music videos and artwork, entirely on their own.

Their first single, "Dear Idiot," was released in December 2019, and despite its lack of promotion, it created a huge buzz not only in Japan but also overseas. Since then, CLWP has released songs regularly, reaching 1 million total views within 6 months.

In 2021, CLWP was selected for Spotify's "RADAR: Early Noise 2021." In August 2022, they performed at "SUMMER SONIC 2022" in Tokyo and Osaka. In March 2023, they performed at the world-class music-festival-and-conference "SXSW 2023" held in Austin, Texas.

Musicians and producers from Japan and abroad reach out to them all the time, and CLWP actively collaborates with various creators regardless of their country or genre.

By chaotically throwing together the vibes and emotions of a world in turmoil with their eclectic aesthetic, they create a new kind of pop music that no one has ever heard before.
