From humble beginnings, MOHI's talent has garnered critical acclaim and industry recognition. He was awarded the title of Most Promising Emerging Artist of 2022 at the prestigious Waiata Maori Music Awards, solidifying his rising star status. Additionally, his exceptional work as a songwriter has earned him recognition as a finalist for both the coveted APRA Silver Scrolls Award and the APRA Maioha Award at this year’s APRA Silver Scrolls, showcasing his lyrical prowess and musical artistry.

MOHI has played all across Aotearoa-New Zealand at festivals like Waitangi Day at Treaty Grounds, annual Pasifika Festival, Waiata Maori Live showcase and more. He has mesmerised audiences overseas at the annual Good Juju Festival in Melbourne and more recently, MOHI showcased his reo discography at this year’s Big Sound conference in Brisbane, Australia.
