POOKIE is an MC, producer, DJ, and ICON.

Using her art as a dynamic display of her South Sudanese roots while celebrating her western upbringing, POOKIE has gone from strength to strength since the release of 2020’s debut single ‘Tuesday’ and 2021’s acclaimed full length ‘FLick’; seeking to change the face of hip-hop with ferocious bars and an unbothered delivery.

In 2023 the POOKIE takeover is real, having recently performed headlining slots at Meredith Music Festival, Sun Cycle NYD as well as appearing as the official DJ and MC for Groovin’ the Moo, touring regional centres across Australia alongside Denzel Curry, Fatboy Slim and more.

POOKIE is paving the way for independent artists in Australia with her unapologetic nature as she marches to her own beat through the music industry, and she’s only getting started: POOKIE season has arrived.
