SUPEREGO are one of the most unique, genre-pushing acts in Australia - a collective of visual and audio producers, rappers, singers and multi-instrumentalists hailing from Walyalup (Fremantle), WA. The collective have garnered national renown for their live shows and as producers of carefully curated, experimental drum driven tracks, layered with thoughtful lyrics, glitchy sax lines and psychedelic sounds working to push the boundaries of hip hop. Their 7 year career has seen them travel around Australia multiple times, playing sold out shows and performing alongside huge acts such as Midnight Oil, Sampa the Great, SixSixty, Blackalicious, Thievery Corporation, Remi and more. They have also played staple Australian festivals such as Groove n the Moo, WOMAdelaide, Party in the Paddock, Woodford Folk, NYE On the Hill, Strawberry Fields, Gizz Fest, Caloundra Fest and Southbound. Their invitation to SXSW in 2020 unfortunately cut due to COVID-19 has left the band ready and eager to grasp new heights with their highly anticipated debut album “Who Are You Hiding From” released to critical acclaim in June 2023. October will see SUPEREGO embark on an Australian tour in support of the their debut album and invitation to Sydney SXSW.
