About

Since Teenage Joans first burst onto the stage in late 2018, they have left every room they play full of bran new and soon-to-be long-time fans. Not only does this two-piece indie/pop-punk powerhouse play beautifully crafted songs that have audiences singing along the first time they hear them, but the songs are as real and important as they are unapologetic. Cahli and Tahlia have a lot to say and they are going to say it, you are going to listen, and nobody is going to stand in their way.

After taking out the triple j unearthed high crown in 2020, the Adelaide two-piece have not slowed down – in the last 18 months the self proclaimed “Juice-box punk-pop” girls have taken out #87 in the 2020 Hottest 100, #84 in the 2021 Hottest 100, released their debut EP 'Taste Of Me’ and won a record breaking 7 Awards at the 2021 SAM Awards including awards for ‘Best New Artist’, ‘Best Live Performance’ and ‘Best Release’ as well as taking home ‘Best Punk Artist’ in 2022.

Going from strength to strength, Teenage Joans spent 2021/ 22 on tour with (now lifelong friends) Ballpark Music, Violent Soho The Chats, Bugs, Sly Withers as well as played arenas around the country supporting Amy Shark. They were also invited to perform at festivals such as Good Things, Spin Off, Summer Sounds, Yours & Owls, Unify, NYE On the Hill, Land Of Plenty & many more to come and were due to support the Foo Fighters nationally on their cancelled tour in late 2022.

This March, we will see Teenage Joans return to touring in 2023 starting by performing at festivals Great Escape in Tasmania and Best Served Loud in Queensland before heading to Austin for SXSW and retuning to Aus to support Pale Waves and tour on Groovin The Moo Festival nationally.
