Asia’s Top Emerging Artists Take Centre Stage at Two-Day Free Music Showcase

Mega block party, Touchdown Under, is heading to the heart of our SXSW Sydney® event precinct from October 19-20, 2023.

We’re thrilled to announce this free two-day extravaganza as part of our SXSW Sydney Music Festival, featuring some of the hottest emerging and established artists from across Asia and the Middle East.

No matter what you’re into, from operatic metal to Korean R&B, there’s truly something for everyone. Discover the award-winning Indonesian multi-instrumentalist and composer, Isyana Sarasvati, Jakarta’s power–pop trio GAC, fellow Jakarta indie megastar Hindia, and poetic songwriting icon, Nadin Amizah.

The line-up has been handpicked and presented by China’s most loved festival Concrete & Grass, along with Asia’s biggest label group YEG Music. Each artist and band are already stars in their own country, and now they’re ready to share the love with Australia and the world.
