This feature debut from screenwriter and director Jason Yu starring Lee Sun-kyun (Parasite) screened in the Critics' Week section at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

Aspiring actor Hyun-su and middle manager Soo-jin are newlyweds. Seemingly out of nowhere, Hyun-su starts talking in his sleep. “Someone’s inside,” he says ominously, night after night. Soo-jin becomes overwhelmed with the anxiety that her husband could hurt her family while she sleeps. Meanwhile, her husband’s sleepwalking only intensifies and she begins to feel that her unborn child may be in danger…

Programmer's note: Written on the cusp of his own wedding, Jason Yu imagines what married life might look like were it a twist-filled possession film! What emerges from this thought experiment is nothing short of exemplar: a willfully “small” horror film with big ambitions, in which superstars Jun Yu-mi and Lee Sun-kyun act it out in a surprising duet. Shot with the ambition of a Bong Joon-ho film (for whom Yu was an assistant director) and the blocking ingenuity of a Park Chan-wook feature, first-time filmmaker Yu takes the baton from South Korean genre royalty and leaps out eagerly and ready for the crown.
