From Charity to Change: The Future of Fundraising in Australia

About

In 2021, in the midst of a global pandemic, charities were facing unprecedented challenges in raising money. In response, the Royal Australian Mint’s Donation Dollar was launched – the world’s first $1 coin designed to give not keep. Not only was it one of the world’s most awarded creative ideas, two years on, Donation Dollar has raised $15m to date. But now, a cost-of-living crisis means charities are facing fresh headwinds. Last year, Australians gave less, on average, than in the decade prior, and the number of Australians who do not donate at all has increased. More than ever, innovative creative solutions are needed to ensure a brighter future for those Australians in most need of one. If you believe every Australian deserves a fair go, join our panel of experts to find out how your creativity and participation can not only help shape the future of fundraising but of the nation itself.
