???Rose Herceg, President, WPP Australia and New Zealand

?Rose Herceg leads WPP’s business in Australia, supporting the agency leaders, promoting WPP’s collective capabilities and bringing together people and resources on behalf of clients. Rose was previously Chief Strategy Officer of WPP AUNZ, which became a wholly owned part of WPP in 2021. In this role, she led client-facing activity at the WPP level, helping to deliver the company’s integrated offer of communications, experience, commerce and technology across its network of agencies.
Earlier in her career, Rose founded Pophouse, one of Australia’s leading agencies for innovation, social trends and business strategy. She sold this to STW Group in 2007 and joined as a strategic consultant. She became Chief Strategy Officer of WPP AUNZ following the WPP merger with STW in 2016. Rose is the author of three books on business leadership and innovation and is one of Australia’s leading social forecasters and futurists.



?Katie Rigg-Smith, Chief Strategy Officer, WPP Australia and New Zealand

Katie Rigg-Smith is the Chief Strategy Officer for WPP in Australia and New Zealand. WPP is the creative transformation company, using the power of creativity to build better futures for our people, planet, clients and communities.

Katie is a keen student of human behaviour and a futurist. Katie delivers strategic expertise across WPP’s network of agencies in service of their clients. This includes an emphasis on how cultural, social, economic, and geographic trends influence behaviour, and in turn, how these behaviours will shape the future of marketing.

Prior to moving to WPP, Katie spent 23 years at Mindshare in Australia, a WPP company. She held positions across strategy, investment, and client leadership. Katie was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer of Mindshare in 2010 before stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer in Australia and New Zealand in 2013, a role she held for over nine years.

Katie has been named in B&T’s ‘Women in Media Powerlist’ every year since its inception in 2013. Katieis passionate about giving back to the industry, having served as a Board Member on the MFA for eight years, a Mentor for The Marketing Academy since its launch in Australia, and lecturing at the University of Technology Sydney’s Faculty of Business for three years.
