The Flipping Point – Women’s Sports and the Partnerships That Propel Social Change

About

The CommBank Matildas have united our nation. From die-hard football fiends to never-seen-a-game-before fans, we packed stadiums, live sites and living rooms right across Australia to watch them play in the FIFA Women’s World CupTM. Australia is loving our national team for more than their prowess on the field – these women are our heroes for all the right reasons.

LEGO Australia’s out-of-the box approach to a values-based partnership with Football Australia is making real change, one brick at a time. The partnership is seeing LEGO Australia break down barriers, champion diversity and getting more women and girls to Play Unstoppable.

Meanwhile Angel City FC’s brilliant disruptor model has taken the football world by confetti storm. It's a women-led model of entrepreneurship, a celebration of diversity and an incubator of community.

How are these powerhouses harnessing this tipping point to ensure that we sustain the momentum and build a lasting legacy for women’s football and an empowered future generation?

We go in-depth to explore the innovative strategies and clever thinking that is influencing our culture and propelling the next wave of change. Hear the different perspectives from Football Australia, LEGO and Angel City FC who are changing the game forever.
