Associate Professor Alice Motion is Interim Director of the Sydney Nano Institute and a chemist and science communication researcher and practitioner at the School of Chemistry, University of Sydney. Alice’s research explores open source drug discovery and ways to connect people with science and make research more accessible. Alice is recognised as a leading international science communicator and was awarded the Eureka Prize for Promoting Public Understanding of Science in 2020. Alice is the creator of Live From The Lab, founder of the Breaking Good citizen science project, and co-host of ABC Science podcast Dear Science.
