Andrew is a founding member of the Smart Innovation Centre - Transport for NSW’s technology hub established to facilitate the research, development and piloting of innovative transport technologies. The team develops key partnerships between Government, the private sector, academia and investors to lead the development and trialling of Future Mobility technology including Connected and Automated Vehicles in NSW. Andrew's professional experience has focused around strategy, innovation, commercial development and operational delivery across a number of areas in the transport, infrastructure, retail and not-for-profit sectors. Andrew has a passion for thinking differently and solving diverse, complex and challenging problems through collaboration with others. This experience has led him to successfully lead a number of projects as a strong communicator with an appreciation of the strategic, technical and commercial aspects required to develop and deliver innovative projects and services. In 2018 Andrew was shortlisted for the ITS Australia Young Professional Award for his work developing and leading NSW's Regional Automated Vehicle Trials – a multi-million dollar program of Australian first trials across Armidale, Coffs Harbour and Dubbo.
