Benjamin Kolaitis is a Naarm (Melbourne) based technologist that has put on many hats. They have professional and demonstrated experience as an OpenSource hacker, artist, community builder and facilitator, facility manager and operator, team leader, audiovisual manager and operator, events lead, artistic director and strategic planner.

Benjamin is dedicated to enabling communities through implementing, coordinating and managing technological facilities and educational programs that support the education, development, empowerment and courage of communities utilising old and new technologies.

Many of these facilities include the operation and coordination of multiple public labs and spaces where people can access design, production, presentation and fabrication services and equipment. Some examples include laser cutters, 3D printers, sewing and craft, electronics and robotics, recording studios and performance spaces.
