Benjamin Lamont is the Manager Technology Strategy and Data for the Australian Federal Police (AFP).

Ben is responsible for developing the AFP Technology Strategy and associated roadmaps to address capability gaps and opportunities. He is also responsible for developing methods and governance to ensure consistent application and use of data, analytics and augmented decision making.

Prior to this, Ben spent 15 years in Forensics in the AFP and New South Wales Police. He led complex forensic operations in counter-terrorism, serious and organised crime, and community policing.
