Dr. Kitty Lo has over a decade of experience in the field of data science. Over the years, she has worked on a diverse range of problems across a wide spectrum of industries such as optimising pricing strategies for retailers, identifying optimal cancer treatments with a non-profit, and modelling covid during the global pandemics for government agencies. She has also been a data science lecturer at the University of Sydney. She holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and Physics from UNSW and a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Sydney. In her current role at Nearmap, she is bringing geoanalytics solutions to the insurance industry.
