About

Michael Yang is the founder of Caire Health, an integrative psychedelic therapy practice. He has been in practice since 2001. In line with family tradition, he graduated summa cum laude with a doctorate in Chinese medicine from ECTOM. He subsequently went on to do PhD work studying the intersection of depression, pain, and metabolism.

Michael has integrated multiple conventional oncology practices to improve patient outcomes and worked extensively with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation providing free and low-cost care. He was the medical advisor to Hein Cannabis - an early pioneer in CBD processing and manufacture, and founded the Pacific Medical Group, an integrative medical practice in Los Angeles. He teaches continuing education courses on the subjects of physiology, integrative, and functional medicine. His new book, Tripping Over Yourself, is due to be published in 2024.
