Gemma is heavily immersed in Australia’s startup ecosystem. She spends most of her week working with startup founders, operators, investors and contributors with the goal of helping elevate their stories and fuelling their growth.

Gemma is the Co-founder and Head of Growth at Overnight Success - a media platform with a weekly newsletter founded in early 2022 that has attracted almost 2,500 subscribers interested in staying up to date on all the latest news and opportunities from across the Australian startup ecosystem. She is also the Co-founder and Head of Marketing at Stella Startups, a marketing service purpose-built to help early-stage startups develop their marketing foundations and build strong, sustainable brands from day one.

Prior to these ventures, Gemma was the marketing lead at the early stage climate tech startup, Trace, spent several years in the core organising team for TEDxMelbourne and worked with various high-profile brands from large corporates (Coles, Australian Super) to not-for-profits (Australian Red Cross, WEHI) and government agencies (Respect Victoria, TAC) during her time in the creative advertising industry.
