He is a technology entrepreneur working to nurture and build the Australian startup ecosystem and an accomplished leader of high-growth technology businesses. Ian has a strong understanding of technology and how it can be used to build competitive advantage. Ian is a member of YPO and the ex-Head of Startups at AWS for Australia/NZ. He is a past winner of the Pearcy Award for IT Entrepreneur of The Year. Ian is passionate about mentoring and investing in startups. He is also a cyclist, gamer, skier, husband, Scotsman, geek, and father (not in that order).
