Jemma Cole is an award winning artistic director and creative producer with over 13 years working across experiential, film, live performance and new media. As co-founder of SOFT CENTRE, an experimental art, sound and digital arts organisations based in Eora, Sydney, Jemma has curated and produced major festivals, programs and commissions for Dark Mofo, Vivid Sydney, Sydney Opera House, FIBER [Amsterdam], Svbkvlt [China] to name a few. Described as a ‘niche utopia’ (RealTime), the flagship one-day event at Carriageworks has been widely celebrated as one of Australia’s most cutting-edge boutique festivals, recently included in Resident Advisor’s Top Ten festivals globally (June 2023). Jemma is also a co-founder of NECTAR, an events and bookings agency, and here she mentors, educates, and curates events.
