About

Jesse Hyde is an Australian actor, dancer, and musician. He made his feature film debut in Michael Petroni’s psychological thriller, Backtrack (2015) alongside Sam Neil and Academy Award winner Adrien Brody, of which he played a younger version. Jesse was born Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. He is known for Ladies in Black (2018) which includes Julia Ormond, Angourie Rice and Rachael Taylor, Wild Squad Adventures (2017), Dedo (2016) and Prank (2014). Jesse's training includes the 2 year full time intensive at Screenwise Film & TV School for Actors, private coaching with industry professionals and co-owning and teaching at his own acting studio on the South Coast of NSW. Jesse’s latest feature is Canadian film Golden Delicious (2021) directed by Jason Karman, shot in Vancouver, BC. Jesse’s athletic ability shone as he played the captain of the basketball team and the main antagonist in this coming-of-age story. Jesse spent the majority of 2022 filming Michael Gracey’s latest feature film, Better Man, a biopic about singer/songwriter Robbie Williams which has been shooting in Melbourne, Australia and London, England.
