Jitin Hingorani is currently the Head of Programming for Asia’s largest co-production and distribution market, the NFDC Film Bazaar, funded by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India. Hingorani also founded and served as Festival Director of THREE prominent South Asian Film Festivals in the United States – New York City SAFF, Long Island SAFF, and Dallas/Fort Worth SAFF, which was named “Most Innovative Small Business in Texas” by the Governor.

In 2023, South by Southwest (SXSW) and Tribeca commissioned him to curate the first-ever South Asian House at their mainstream festivals, and he is curating South Asian programming for the first-ever South by Southwest in Australia (SXSW Sydney) this October. Hingorani’s first documentary as Executive Producer, CALL ME DANCER, is currently traveling the international festival circuit. He is also activelypitching multiple feature films, docs, and web series through his Indo-International production company, Just Kidding Ventures.

For over a decade, Hingorani served as the Principal/CEO JINGO Media, a boutique PR, marketing, and events management firm focused on film, arts, entertainment, and fashion. He was also the Senior Entertainment Reporter/Anchor for Asian Variety Show (AVS), the longest-running Bollywood entertainment program in the U.S., with a viewership of 16 million households in 120 countries. In his television career, Jitin has covered and/or managed more than 100 celebrity red carpets and interviewed the likes of Nicole Kidman, Dev Patel, Hilary Swank, Ewan McGregor, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Deepak Chopra, just to name a few.

He received his degrees in Broadcast Journalism and English Literature from The University of Texas at Austin and Oxford University in the U.K. In his spare time, Jitin enjoys watching global independent cinema and has a soft spot for British crime dramas.
