John leads Tripadvisor’s global marketing, sales and data organizations, inclusive of customer consumer and B2B acquisition and engagement, performance and brand marketing, communications and industry affairs, marketing analytics, creative and design, partnerships and hotel and media sales.

John has also served as Chief Growth Officer for Immutable, a leading blockchain company powering web3 games. CEO of IfOnly, a leading direct-to-consumer and B2B technical platform and marketplace for incredible events and experiences, which was acquired by Mastercard in late 2019. John brings 25 years of C-level marketing and management experience from leading consumer brands including Shutterfly where he served as Chief Marketing Officer, Lonely Planet, Zagat Survey, 1-800Flowers.com, FreshDirect and Radio City Music Hall/Madison Square Garden.

Originally from New York City, John holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BA from Middlebury College.
