John is the founding editor-in-chief of Capital Brief. Before that he held various senior positions at Nine Publishing/Fairfax Media, including national business editor at The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. He was an early editorial member at US business outfit Quartz and also worked at the Australian Financial Review.
