Dr Josh Andres's two-decade career in technology covers a range of experiences from academia, where he applies cybernetics to create opportunities for hopeful technological futures that include humans and the environment; to industrial research, where his work on human-computer interaction and AI led to numerous publications and presentations globally and resulted in over 20 patents, and; industry, where he led the design of multi-device experiences enjoyed by millions of users.

Josh is an engaging and experienced facilitator, leading workshops across continents in academic and professional environments for various audiences. His research has drawn international media coverage from the likes of Openbci, Newatlas, The Age, Zdnet, Channel 7, Channel 9 and Insiderobotics. In addition, Josh's PhD work received the ACM SIGCHI Outstanding Dissertation Award.

Josh is an advocate for diversity and inclusion and strives to create supportive environments where participants can thrive and learn together.
