In 2008, I was part of a group of people who launched Thankyou. Since then, we’ve seen it grow from a small start-up become one of Australia’s leading mainstream social enterprises. I love brand. I also love people. Luckily for me, in my role at Thankyou, I’ve had the privilege of leading both. From day one I wanted us to value our people and staff for who they are, versus what they could do or the value they could add. It’s a philosophy we’ve ingrained into our culture. I also believed in the power of people to create an unstoppable movement. One that could change the world. This brand has been built upon that collective of people, and together we’ve achieved some big things - but the biggest, boldest step is still to come. To date, Thankyou has raised over $17 million to impact the lives of people across 22 countries. This is just the beginning.
