Kerry Turner


Multi-award winning project manager, innovator and strategist, Kerry has been the public face of a multitude of initiatives that promote sport for all and wellbeing in the community. A highly articulate communicator and thought leader, Kerry’s focus has been driving behavioural and cultural change in sport to ensure everyone can reap the benefits from participation.

With a passion for applying creative thinking and innovation to addressing issues in sport, Kerry has led the development of programs like Think. Act. Play, Sport Rage Prevention and the NSW Government's Women in Sport Strategy.

She has over 25 years’ experience working across Australian sport, including board and advisory roles in sport and Government at state and national levels. She has held senior management roles at the NSW Office of Sport, leading project teams and providing strategic leadership on policy development in relation to sport participation, ethics, funding, volunteers, and childhood obesity prevention.

A former World Champion who has played 108 test caps for Australia in water polo, Kerry is also a renowned presenter, influential communicator and budding actress.
