Kim has held senior positions within arts organisations for over 30 years and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of NAISDA Dance College, Australia's National Indigenous Dance College. A dancer, director, and choreographer, Kim has been principal dancer for Sydney Dance Company, Artistic Director of the Flying Fruit Circus and a nationally renowned freelance choreographer and director. Kim has served as a member of Create NSW and the Australian Council on several boards, and on the Hothouse Artistic Directorate. Kim was also the recipient of the Sydney Myer individual award in 1991 and currently sits on the boards of Create NSW, Ausdance NSW, and Barang Regional Alliance.

Kim is a non Indigenous, born on Gadigal Land of West Indian and African heritage.
