About

As Screen Australia’s first Head of Online and Games, Lee oversees development and production funding for emerging Australian scripted and documentary creators working online, supporting projects such as Latecomers, Content, All My Friends Are Racist, Over and Out, First Day Season 2, At Home Alone Together and many more. Lee also looks after initiative like Skip Ahead with YouTube, and established the partnerships Digital Originals with SBS/NITV and Every Voice with TikTok and NZ on Air. Lee was also fundamental in establishing Screen Australia’s Games: Expansion Pack, which launched in early 2022 and has so far committed over $8 million to more than 60 Australian games.

Before joining Screen Australia, Lee was best known for his work in musical comedy trio The Axis of Awesome, who have over 150 million views online, 7 studio albums and have toured the US, UK, Europe and Australia multiple times. He has written on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Australia and co-created Insert Coin, an online sketch comedy series about games with over 2 million views.
