About

Louise Edmonds is the Granddaughter of Australian boxing great Tommy Burns and fights for the next generation of young men and women, through an online youth academy developed with councillors and SEI facilitators named, “Young Men of Manners”.

Edmonds’ is not unfamiliar with misfortunes, being a survivor of child sex abuse, assault, domestic violence and workplace harassment, making her well apt to speak on the current issues and not ostracize the discussion from good men and women.

In 2019, Louise was a founder leadership member of The Mentour; a three-day event at Town Hall named MANifest “Redefining Masculinity”, alongside 15 leading mens charities guiding the space where men are able to heal their past and create their future through emotional literacy.

• Advocate for CAPS (Child Abuse Protection Services).
• Founding member of The Independent Collective of Survivors (ICOS), the only victim survivor led and run national organisation of its kind.
• InKind partner of A21 – an agency to abolish child sex trafficking
• In-kind partner of Project Futures that connects people to the issue of modern slavery, sexual abuse and sex trafficking of women.
• Men of Manners is supported by teen body-care company, Neon Goat launched in 2023 to shine a light on male teens speaking confidence over their future.
