About

Mark Beretta, or ‘Beretts’ as he’s more affectionately known began his media career working in radio at 3GL in Geelong, and then Triple M in Melbourne. Within a couple of years, he made the transition to television and was snapped up by Seven in 1995. Since then, Mark has worked on the network’s coverage of every summer and winter Olympic Games, been a member of Seven’s AFL commentary team, the Australian Open tennis commentary team, and Seven’s V8 Supercars commentary team.

He was also on Series 7 of Dancing with the Stars, and has driven in the Australian Grand Prix Celebrity Race.

Off-screen, Mark is a 10-time Australian Water Ski champion, a silver medallist at the Singapore International Masters, and held a U.S. record. If that wasn’t enough, he also holds a degree in Engineering!

Mark is a passionate cyclist and a Tour de Cure board member. He has completed 10 of the cancer charity’s annual bike rides, each ride covering more than 1,500km in 10 days.

In March 2018, Mark was given the honour of introducing Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh outside Buckingham Palace for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton Relay. The following year, he was named Australian Father of the Year.
