Misty McPhail is an executive producer at Made in the West CREATIVE and the general manager of Made in the West Film Festival, a grassroots festival that celebrates and showcases the work of Western Sydney filmmakers. She is an experienced event producer, MC and volunteer team leader, working on various festivals and events over the last decade including Sydney Writers’ Festival and the Australian Production Design Guild. She is passionate about creating opportunities for independent artists and designing for innovation in creative practice.
