Stacey Speck is an associate and regional director of marketing for Cushing Terrell, a 450-person architectural, engineering and design firm with thirteen offices across the U.S. Stacey has a background in graphic design, with degrees from Parsons School of Design in NYC and the University of Texas at Austin.

Stacey has demonstrated over a sustained period of time significant civic volunteer engagement from serving on community boards to volunteering of her time and resources. Stacey has been a proponent of building a prosperous economy for Central Texas though her support in the Austin Chamber of Commerce. Stacey was one of the leading organizers for the Chamber’s South and Central Business Councils as well as serving as its inaugural chair which included her being appointed to the Board of Directors of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. She has served on the board of the Dispute Resolution Center in Austin, graduated from Leadership Austin, and currently serves on an Urban Land Institute committee and volunteers for ENGin, a non-profit that pairs Ukrainian youth with English speakers for free conversational English lessons and connection.

Stacey’s research on psychology in design in collaboration with Dr. Sam Gosling, professor of psychology at the University of Texas in Austin and Joel Anderson, architect, has been featured at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

Stacey is instrumental in advancing business development opportunities for Cushing Terrell’s Austin office and works closely with the design teams supporting diverse clients in the region, from high tech companies to non-profit organizations.
