Tasman Keith

Musician and Panelist | Tasman Keith

His music defies categorisation, but his message remains hard to ignore. Indebted to giving back to the community that raised him, Tasman Keith is an indispensable leader of hip hop's new vanguard. Since capitalising on the attention of 2019 debut EP Mission Famous, the breakthrough track 'BILLY BAD AGAIN'. Then not even a world pandemic could stop him, keeping busy across 2020 through a series of collaborations, most notably with Jessica Mauboy and Midnight Oil on 'First Nation', the lead of the band's #1 ARIA Award Winning record The Makaratta Project. Launching into 2022 with the arrival of his explosive debut album A Colour Undone was nothing short of prolific. Exploring questions of love, loss and trauma through his purview as an Indigenous man, met with immediate acclaim praising the musical and emotional variety of his debut. In the short time since, Keith continues to find praise, including a nomination for Best Video at the National Indigenous Music Awards, a debut cover on Men’s Health, a special Live At The Wireless performance and a memorable appearance at the 2022 Splendour In The Grass.
