SXSW Sydney Badges allow you access to everything: Conference, mentor sessions, workshops, networking events, festivals, parties, and more with either an industry focus (Tech, Games, Music or Screen) or Platinum for primary access to the full event.

If a badge isn’t quite right for you but you still want to make the most of all things new and emerging in your respective industry, a wristband could be just what you’re after.

A wristband gives you access to either our Games, Music or Screen Festivals.

SXSW Sydney also offers a Tech & Innovation Expo Day Pass.

Wristbands are available for Games, Music and Screen Festivals at SXSW Sydney 2023:

• A Music Wristband gives you access to more than 300 artist performances throughout the 4 day Festival, taking place at 25 iconic venues around Sydney
• A Screen Wristband gives you access to exclusive red carpet premieres and screenings that take place throughout the Screen Festival, as well as the XR Showcase.
• A Games Wristband gives you access to live playthroughs, product launches, performances, hands-on demos and parties at events such as the Games Showcase, Tabletop Festival, XR Showcase plus a Games Awards hosted by Tom Cardy

No, only Badge holders can access the conference, which includes keynotes presentations, panels, workshops and mentor session. If you’re more interested in these sessions, see our Badge pages for information on access between Platinum and Industry badges.

No, the Expo can only be accessed with either a Badge, or a Tech & Innovation Expo Day Pass (day of choice during the event week).

No, the wristband only grants you entry to its respective Festival. If you’d like to experience more of SXSW Sydney 2023, consider a Platinum or Industry Badge.

It is highly unlikely that individual tickets will be available for SXSW Sydney. There are various levels of access available to be able to enjoy everything the event has to offer.

A Platinum Badge grants access to the full event, and industry-focused badges (Tech & Innovation, Games, Music and Screen) to their respective industry events
