NEW FOR 2025: SXSW Sydney Conference Day Pass
Can you only spare a day for SXSW Sydney 2025? No problem! Our Conference Day Pass (starting from $295) lets you pack one full day of learning and inspiration at ICC Sydney from 9am to 5pm.
Dive into any of the 75+ daily sessions across 23 tracks, then head to Tumbalong Park to see a range of free live entertainment, brand experiences and hospitality to round out your day.
If you think this is for you - TAKE NOTE - the first to purchase their Conference Day Pass will have the first chance to choose their preferred Conference day once the schedule drops, in June. After that, changes to your selected day are possible subject to availability. Heads up – these passes will be popular, but they are limited, so grab yours as soon as you can.
Want to level up? If you're thinking one day is not enough, or want to check out our Tech, Music, Screen, or Games Festivals, you’ll want to go for a Pro Pass (starting from $495). Or just add a Festival Wristband to your Day Pass to get the best of both worlds!

Platinum Pass holders don’t need to choose their focus - primary access to Tech & Innovation, Music, Games, or Screen Festivals is all included. Every single professional development session and industry showcases is open to you, with exclusive festival special events and mixers to round out the day in style.
It’s not all about all-inclusive Festival access. At the Conference, Platinum only Xpress access makes it possible to skip a line to the most popular sessions. During event week, Platinum Pass holders receive an email at 9am with a link to access limited Xpress Passes to selected sessions the next day.

Plus, you'll get access to interactive brand activations across the precinct all week and the Innovation Expo Wednesday to Saturday.

Catch a Single Film Screening - $25
When the Screen Festival drops, you might be keen to attend one of the coveted premiere screenings, or a hard to see film or short. When that’s the case, you’ll be able to reserve your seat with a single movie ticket and get guaranteed entry to any screening in our lineup. Perfect if you can't make the whole festival or want to add something special to your Music/Games Wristband or Day Pass experience.
Tickets will go on sale in September when we announce the full schedule.
Music Venue Cover Charge
Want to catch a show on the fly? Some venues might spontaneously offer last-minute entry after our pass holders are in. Just keep in mind this isn't available at every venue or every night – it's more of a lucky bonus if you're in the right place at the right time! When offered, a $25 entry fee will apply on the door at the venue.
Innovation Expo - A taste of SXSW Sydney
Step into 2000+ square meters of pure innovation at the ICC! Check out 100 game-changing exhibitors from tech giants to exciting startups across Tech, Games, Screen, and Music. Catch industry leaders sharing their knowledge at our Discovery Stage, and get up close with next-level activations and gear. Wednesday to Friday, an Expo Pass will cost you $40, but on Saturday October 18th, entry to the Innovation Expo will be FREE of charge, for the first time.
SXSW Sydney 2025 Free Program
SXSW Sydney is also expanding its free programming significantly with 7 days of extensive brand and partner experiences, alongside must-see music showcases from Wednesday to Saturday, and new for 2025, free access to the Innovation Expo on Saturday, and free family-friendly entertainment all day on Sunday—all in and around Darling Harbour.
Group Bookings
What you’ve heard is true, SXSW Sydney with friends and colleagues is a uniquely bonding experience. Discounts from 5% to 15% will be automatically applied at checkout for groups of five or more.
International Attendees
Everyone at SXSW Sydney benefits when more people from APAC and beyond attend the event. So this year, anyone travelling from overseas will be able to purchase any Pass or Wristband at 20% off the current pricing, automatically applied at purchase. Please note, group discounts will not apply.

Significantly reduced pricing for SXSW Sydney 2025 means all attendees benefit from more affordable access this year. 7 Day Passes at early bird are $400 less than the same time last year. And this year for the first time we are offering a Conference Day Pass for $295.
SXSW Sydney strives to create an inclusive and accessible environment, and we will again collaborate with Social Enterprise Australia to boost diversity in attendance and participation at SXSW Sydney 2025. Together, we will once more provide over 300 free Passes to those living with disability, identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander origin, culturally diverse community members or concession card holders in the Screen, Games, Music, Arts or Social Enterprise industries. Special consideration will also be given to full-time students, those living in Regional and Rural NSW, and those travelling to attend from interstate.
